Is your home safe?

Our home is our sanctuary, the one place where we should feel safe, comfortable, and at peace. When the outside world is being harsh to us, it is where we run for refuge. So when was the last time you checked your home for safety?

It is not enough to lavish our homes with fine and lovely decors, nor just clean it through and through until it is shining white. Safety hazards must be removed and safety gadgets be installed. So that wherever we are, we know that the ones we love most are well protected and secure. Since the most vulnerable to accidents and injuries are the little ones, it is very important to child-proof our house.

If you ever need to purchase home safety products, KidSafe is the best place to look at. They offer a wide range of quality safety items that are within your budget. So, child-proof your home now, and worry-proof your mind.

Life is what we make it

God provided us with every resources we need to survive in this life. It's just the matter of how well and creative we are in using those resources. As the saying goes, "Life is what we make it". So when you receive lemons, make lemonades! And when I received this wonderful Lemonade Award from my very sweet friend Michelle at MyCrazyLifeWithAToddler, I know I have to make something out of it. I have to share it all to my blogger friends out there, who have all the potentials yet to realize.

The way the “When Life Gives You Lemons, make Lemonade” Award (for short, The Lemonade Award) works is:

1) You must link back to the person you received the award from.

2) You have to nominate 10 bloggers who are deserving of this award!

Nothing Is Sure

Gemini (May 20 - Jun 20)
Thrilling as the ideas or offers triggered by encounters by your ruler Mercury and the Sun to the fortunate Jupiter may be, nothing is sure. With things so unsettled, even the simplest plans are unlikely to last. Knowing that, explore every option but do not commit.

*** Hi friends, it's been a while since I posted my weekly horoscope. Just been in a very tight schedule lately. Anyway, again my stars are telling me exactly what's happening right now. Nothing is ever sure. Eventhough exciting opportunities came knocking my door, if it's not meant to be then it will never be. But I'm still optimistic with things, it might not be possible now, but eventually, things will go my way (and of course with God's blessings!)

Aries (Mar 20 - Apr 18)
Don't allow others' worries to restrict you from exploring the amazing offers now appearing. However, with Mercury still retrograde and next week's eclipse shaking things up, all plans must be regarded as tentative. It gives you time to think these developments over.

Taurus (Apr 19 - May 19)
The seemingly daily changes in both circumstances and plans are infuriating. And your instincts are telling you to stick with what you know. Still, disruptive as the events may be, they're a route to a way that long seemed beyond your reach.

Cancer (Jun 21 - Jul 21)
Everybody's buzzing about how promising certain changes are. But you're wary because they're causing such disarray. However, you'll want to explore developments that've arisen thus, particularly those between now and January's end. No commitments, though.

Leo (Jul 22 - Aug 21)
Instead of looking at the unsettling changes swirling through your life as isolated situations to be dealt with individually, invest time assessing your feelings about them. That way you'll be prepared for early February's seismic Leo eclipsed Full Moon.

Virgo (Aug 22 - Sep 21)
With your ruler Mercury retrograde until February 1, more changes are inevitable. Knowing that, explore everything, ignoring even practical concerns. Soon you could find they're easily overcome. Meanwhile, your own objectives are being transformed.

Libra (Sep 22 - Oct 22)
What seems most disruptive this week could actually be a breakthrough in disguise. So resist the temptation to tactfully persuade others to go along with what seems wisest. Actually, you're better off trying to avoid making any decisions until early February.

Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 20)
For ages you've been focusing on certain goals. Now events throw those plans into disarray. Do nothing. This takes courage. But because eclipses next week and in early February shake things up, your thinking and those plans will be altered frequently and radically.

Sagittarius (Nov 21 - Dec 20)
Because you're better at dealing with the unexpected than any other sign, while others are complaining about non-stop changes, you're thriving. Explore what arises, but make no commitments. What's already good will just get better.

Capricorn (Dec 21 - Jan 19)
This is one of those rare times when opportunities are just as good as they seem. The only problem is that with circumstances around you in transition, consider all arrangements as tentative as these offers could be exceeded by even better ones by week's close.

Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)
While you're thriving on the current intriguing developments, your own mood's curiously reflective. That's the way it should be now, just prior to the Aquarius eclipsed New Moon on the 26th, when profound insights and changes could transform your life.

Pisces (Feb 19 - Mar 19)
Deep down you've known that changes are for the better. But not everybody responds as well to the unexpected. Discuss their anxieties but no more as the situation is still quite fluid. Your first priority must be exploring how you'll benefit from developments.

Flea Away

I'm not much of a pet lover, but we did own a dog before (Quino was his name, though he already passed away, may his soul rest in peace). And everytime he came near me, I felt itchy all over. Then I came for a closer look to inspect him, growse, too many fleas! My legs were full of flea bites and I rushed to the bathroom to clear what those annoying pest have left in my body. Really this is one of the reasons why I don't love pets, they carry with them organisms that are harmful to our health. And one of them is flea. Fleas are annoying little bugs that causes skin discomfort as well as a mode of transmission of infectious diseases that could spread in our household. And we better get rid of them!

Aside from good and proper hygiene to your pets (sometimes this is just ain't enough), you need to have strict fleas control in your household to protect those who you love most. If you ever had the need to control fleas in your pets, I suggest you visit www.fleascontrol.com, this is a Flea Control Guide which is very helpful for you to decide which methods and chemicals to use for your pets.

Protect yourself and your family now, get rid of those annoying bugs before they get the chance!

Welcome back Belle!

Last night, we welcomed Belle back in the hospital. We all hid in the treatment room with our wedding present to her to surprise her. And surprise her we really did! Most of the staff contributed little amount to buy her a gift, and Ate Jess went all through the effort of choosing and buying the right gift for the new couple. She chose a white microwave oven, and two towels for the newly wed.

I can see the joy in Belle's face. The happiness that you can only see in someone who found their one true love. And I'm so happy for her. I wish her all the joy as well as all the strength and faith to endure life's trials.

Congratulations Belle, and to Carlo too!!! Best wishes my friends...

Forever Young

Getting old is a part of life, that's a fact that we all know. But that does not stop us from staying young. With the rising of medical technology nowadays, it's not that hard to maintain one's youth and glow. Another advancement in medicine which is becoming more popular not only for women but for men as well is Cosmetic Surgery. With this you can repair, enhance, and crop any part of your body to your liking.

As for myself, I've always wanted to enhance my bust, but I kept thinking of the side effects that will occur later. So I researched all about it on the internet. Then I came across this site which offers never ending youth. Among a lot of procedures, they specialize in boob jobs that are safe, effective, fast, and more importantly affordable. What's more, their clinic houses the most advance medical equipments and professionals whose main goal is to give you the ultimate satisfaction you've ever wanted. They will grant your wish to be young and beautiful while rendering quality services without compromising your budget.

This is the trend recently, so if you can afford and it makes you happy, why not go with it? I'm seriously thinking...

Finally, I've moved in

The Sala

After the long wait, finally I have moved in to my new apartment, that's why I was kinda busy lately. With all the new adjustments I have to make, I barely have time to update my blog. And also, wireless signals are so difficult to find in here.

My bedroom

I was feeling a bit depressed lately since my application for DOH exam had been rejected. The reason: no latest hospital experience! So sad, but anyway I have to go on with my life, maybe this is not the right time yet. I'm just thankful for the opportunity and trust that my manager have in me. That in itself is a great accomplishment for me this year.

Still I'm not giving up, trials and hindrances are there to make one strong, and indeed what happened made me tougher, so bring it on!

Alone But Not Lonely

Being a single parent requires a lot of courage and patience. You should be flexible since you act as both the mother and father to your kid. Although it is very fulfilling, I can't help but feel alone sometimes. There were moments when I thought what my life would have been have I opted to marry before. But then the freedom I have now would always overrule those thoughts.

So whenever I feel bored, I usually get online and find some interesting Single Parent Chat Rooms. I found one that is totally cool and 100% free membership. There you can talk to various single parents all over the world via webcam and share your special thoughts and interest.

But now that I have Shushu by my side, I stopped chatting to other men (except my father and brothers LOL). Still I encouraged those single parents out there who haven't found the man or girl of their dreams yet, who knows, you might just find him or her there.

Happy New Year!

It's a brand new year everyone, welcome 2009! I have very good vibes this year, it feels fresh and promising. The future seems so bright and holds a lot of good things to come. Of course challenges will be there, but life would be so dull without them right? And trials do make us tough.

My new year's resolutions include (but not limited to LOL) becoming a more responsible and better blogger friend, cut on my sleeping time ( I'll never sleep more than 8 hours a day, PROMISE!), and spend most of my free time chatting with Jamjam.

Wishing all of us the best of 2009 can offer...
