Merry Christmas!

I know this post came a bit late. I've been trying to access the internet lately, and it's so sad we don't have the connection. It's the most wonderful time of the year, and I'm disconnected! Sorry to all my blogger friends if I was not able to visit and greet you on time. I'll do my best to set-up a new connection, for the new year.

Hope you had a great time celebrating the Christmas, and I wish the same for the coming New Year. Join me in thanking the Almighty God for the bountiful blessings we received this 2008, it has been a very fruitful and productive one. May all of us have the blessings we deserve all year round this 2009.

Know Your Callers

With the advent of high technologies nowadays, the number of prank callers also sky rocketed. There are people who uses their intelligence to get on to ones' private data such as bank account and credit card numbers, email addresses, and phone numbers! Isn't it wonderful if you will know where and from who those calls come from, rather than just a phone with No Call List Information?

Well worry no more, whosnumberisthat.com provides phone number trace where you can actually type the phone number in their website, and they will practically know the caller for you. Isn't that a relief?

I'm Multicolored!

As usual I got this fun test from my good friend Michelle. My all-time favorite Christmas decoration is the Christmas tree, but it would be sad and dull without the beautiful glaring lights around it. The lights enhance its beauty, and it serve to brighten up someone's day. Just as the guiding star lighted the path of the three kings and lead them to where Jesus was born.

You are Multicolored Lights
Your holidays are a time for cheer and excitement.
You love so much about the holidays, and everyone perks up a little from your happiness.

You try to be grateful for what you have this time of the year.
Even if things have been tough, you can't help but be joyful.

Are You Asian?

Being away from your family, your country, and your own people is not easy. Even though you get along with other races quite well, you will really look for the easy feeling of being with and talking to someone whose familiar to you in terms of culture, religion, language, etc. And if you are feeling lonely and just want somebody to talk to, why not check out this fabulous Asian Chat Room where lots of Asians from all over the planet meet online to ease their sadness and boredom away.

Membership is absolutely free, so the minute you sign-up, you can start viewing and talking to all of the members on that website in a flash. Wish you all the fun!

Are You Ready?

Only a few hours away and boom, it's Christmas day already! We celebrated Advent, a kind of preparation, to cleanse our hearts, for the coming of the Savior. Have you ever asked yourself if you're ready for the coming of Jesus? Have you forgiven those people who have hurt you, and have you asked forgiveness to the ones you have hurt too?

Well, the true essence of Christmas is love, and with that comes along forgiveness, peace, and happiness. I believe in my heart that I'm ready for Christmas, just a little sad that I'm away from my family. Christmas time is family time, how I wish we are all together to celebrate it.

Have a Merry Christmas everyone! A Blessed & Happy New Year too!

Too Personal

Everyday should be Christmas in our hearts for it is the season for giving and sharing the blessings that we received throughout the year . And receiving gifts with personal touch is more meaningful than receiving cash or cheque perhaps. It's the thought that counts, they said. And indeed, it is very true that whereas we need money this holiday season, personalized holiday gifts give warmth to our hearts. Money can never buy happiness.

So when you are shopping for gifts this Christmas, make sure you check one of these high technology gadgets you can find only at Pexagon.
Opp-300x300

Not only they are stylish, you can design it according to your taste and to the one you want to give it to. And to add icing to the cake, you can print their names and addresses so it will look highly personalized. There will be no doubt as to whom they belong!

I have visited their site, and I just can't wait to have one of those! I have my eyes specifically on that red personalized thumb drive with the Yuletide season's prints, plain lovely it is! How I wish somebody will give me one of those amazing gadgets this Christmas. They are definitely on my wish list!

Gift from Santa

Last week, we had our Christmas Party at work. It was a quick one since it's not everybody's off, some are still doing the night duty. We just had a little talk, ate a lot (LOL), and exchanged gifts. To my greatest dismay, I wasn't able to receive mine due to the fact that the one who picked my name is on annual vacation. She just came back the other day.

Then I was so happy this morning, coz finally I had it in my hand, my gift from Santa, and they are very nice ones. Really it's worth the wait...Thanks so much Blessy!

All Rise!

When I was a little girl, I dreamed of being a great lawyer one day. I love watching lawsuit movies such as A Time To Kill, The Runaway Jury, The Jury and countless more. I have attended few hearings myself during my college days (most of them my mom was called by the court to answer for unpaid debts LOL). I love the look and feel of the courtroom, but I was guided through a different career, which by the way, I fell in love with.

Can you imagine how frightening it would be if you are the defendant of a lawsuit? And a criminal one may I point out. You need to be strong against all odds, to face the prosecutors, the judge, and the jury. And for you to feel secure and have a goodnight sleep, you need to have top-rating attorneys to win your case. I guess the people of Los angeles, California has nothing to worry about because they have the best of Los Angeles Criminal and DUI Defense Attorneys in town!

With more than 50 years of experience in criminal defense, the lawyers at Kestenbaum, Eisner & Gorin, LLP will never let you down. So whenever you find yourself on the defensive side, go take a look at their site. Then you know that you will be in good hands.

Simbang Gabi sa U.A.E.

Merry Christmas! When I was still in the Philippines, I never thought that I can celebrate Christmas season the usual way (with Christmas trees & beautiful lights, and most especially attend Simbang Gabi). Since U.A.E. is an Islamic country, I was resigned to celebrating my Christmas alone and without the merriment the holiday season brings.

But contrary to what I thought, Christmas is celebrated here freely, to my greatest joy! Me, Shushu, and my friends attended the mass tonight, and the church was overflowing with Filipinos. It's like I'm just in my home country. And the air was filled with peace and joy. I hope every day is Christmas day.

Meeting Santa

Let’s face it, everybody is a kid at heart. And every kid got a wish list that will be revealed only at Christmas time. As for me, my all-time wish list is for my family to be safe, healthy, and happy always. And that we will be together for a very long time.

Every holiday season, we always make sure to take great pictures. Pictures are the windows of our past, be it happy or funny ones, or it could be one of those ugly and sad moments. We take careful measures to preserving them so as to make them last from generation to generation, for our kids and grandkids to cherish. And what better way than to put it in a durable yet fashionable frames? I’ve found CEIVA Digital Photo Frame on the internet. And I’m sure you'll gonna like it just as I did. And what’s more they have exciting and enjoyable offers. Just visit their site to have the chance to sit on Santa’s lap. All you need to do is submit a photo of you and type your name and your wish, and Santa and his elves will do the magic! But of course Santa will never forget to check if you’ve been good all year round, so you can never cheat.

After all the fun in seeing yourself sit on Santa’s lap, don’t forget to join the sweepstakes, not only they make your wish come true, they’re also giving away more exciting prizes everyday. Really being good the whole year pays off. So hurry and don’t miss the chance!

A Very Romantic Tag

Got this very sweet and romantic tag from my dear blogger friend Madz, and I just can't resist doing it! I just hope I can make it as sweet and romantic as her post LOL...

Can you remember the day you first met your hubby?
Yes. It was a lovely summer night. It was his birthday celebration (he celebrated it way too late LOL). We were introduced by a common friend, I can never forget that night. A night filled with fun, a night which lead to a very beautiful and promising relationship where faithfulness and honesty are the basic foundation. Amidst cultural and religious differences, I have strong faith that this love could survive, against all odds!

When was that? (doesn't have to be specific)

May 1, 2008 (oh di ba labor day kaayo, and very specific!)

First impression.

He's such a very sweet, caring, and happy guy.

Were you attracted to him?

YES. YES. YES. But I made sure not to show it, coz he was linked to another friend, and I don't want to cause problem. I didn't know he was attracted to me too, until that friend of mine stop tal
king to me anymore, whew! (I'm so glad we're all okay now and back to being friends.)

Were you friends befor
e he became your bf?

Yes, about a
few weeks LOL. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to copy those photos when we were still friends.

What was the sweetest thing he did for you?

He
made my 28th birthday so memorable, it brought tears of happiness into my eyes.

What are the things about him that you are thankful for?

His honesty and faithfullness. Really, I thought I could never believe a guy could be so loya
l to a woman, never thought I could trust a man fully with my heart, but I guess I thought wrong. He love me so much I could feel it in my bones. A woman can never get so lucky. So glad I am.

**Now the rules are simple.

1. Pick your sweetest picture when you were still friends and post it on top of the questions and answers.
2. Another pic now that you are together post it after the questions.
3. Share to how many friends you like.
4. Enjoy doing it c:
5. Let your hubby read it too!

Now I'm tagging all my friends who are still deeply inlove with their hubbies. And even those who are not anymore, try to rekindle the romance, who knows this may lead to something wonderful. Never stop believing in love...

The Holiday Rush

The Yuletide season is really in the air. I just love Christmas! My manager let us choose between Christmas & New Year, which would we prefer to have off from work. And I said definitely Christmas! Though how I wished I took a salary advance too, what with giving gifts to my family and friends. In this time of year we really need an instant cash help, and I mean instant…immediate…urgent.

Then I came to know about Yellow Leaf Financial which offers instant cash advance, payday loans, and personal loans in a flash! And what’s more, it’s just a click away, right in the comfort of your own couch.

Really, Yellow Leaf Financial is like an angel, just when you needed them most.

Happy Birthday Ric!

Wow are you really 26 now? My, you get old fast huh? I could still remember spanking you everytime you did some naughty pranks with me and our little sister. Well, I guess life is just like that, speeding fast and unstoppable.

Ric you know you're very special and dear to me. So I wish you all the best life can offer. I know that you're happy now with your family, and I'm so happy for you too. It's just that we missed you a lot, you living so far away from us and all.

Just stay healthy and safe and happy always. Knowing that, I'll be at peace. I love you my little bro!

Dormant Blogger

Hey guys, I know I've been a very lousy blogger lately, and I apologize if I haven't been able to visit your blogs and see what's hip & new with you. It's beyond hectic, no word would suffice to describe this past weeks.

I'm torn with processing my documents for the DOHMS examination, to the pressures and demands of my work, and of course my Shushu won't let himself get behind. Whew, I just hope that after all these I'll emerge a winner. Then all of the hardships and trials will be all worth it.

Tough Guys

When I was in high school, I was the 2nd Batallion Commander. I just loved everything about it. From the trainings, hazings (mild though), lectures, marching exercises, and most of all the gears!. If you want to look respectful, you need to dress up carefully from head to toe. No wonder I almost joined the ROTC in my college days, but my father didn't just allow it. He insisted that I should give more attention to my studies.

So I contented myself with watching war movies and attending batallion or regimental exercises. I always admire the air of authority every men in uniform possesses. And I kept on thinking how do they manage to look that great despite of the fact that they're busy with trainings and exercises. Then I came to know about several shops which are designing uniforms and army boots that could withstand tough times. One of them is WorkBootsUSA, they are selling tactical boots that could resist even the toughest training whatever the climate maybe.
I know that being in the army is quite a tough job, so you need tough gears to survive.

Well if you do need tough boots at friendly prices, you gotta come visit this site. It will be worth your time and money.

TGIF!

Gemini (May 20 - Jun 20)
On the one hand, past efforts are bearing fruit and you're on the receiving end of exciting opportunities. On the other, you'll be contending with unexpected twists and demands that seem harsh, if not unfair. Deal with both as they arise, they'll prove amazingly informative.
Aries (Mar 20 - Apr 18)
Usually your knack for thinking fast and being decisive is one of your greatest strengths. Now, however, if you act in haste or commit before asking enough questions, you'll cause yourself problems. Explore your options and address any dramatic changes later.

Taurus (Apr 19 - May 19)
Ordinarily adopting a cautious approach to offers that seem too good to be true would be wise. But these are as worthwhile as they seem and with the current swift pace, if you don't at least indicate you're interested now, what's arisen could vanish as fast as it appeared.
Cancer (Jun 21 - Jul 21)
Whether it's changes in the lives of those closest influencing your life or exciting new alliances, even chaotic developments are actually breakthroughs. Knowing that, focus on what you'd like to gain from new arrangements, then explore the options with others.

Leo (Jul 22 - Aug 21)
Balancing time spent with loved ones and on pursuits you adore with obligations is always challenging. But now you're also exploring new options. Try them out; they could turn out to be a dream come true, although not necessarily in the form you expected.

Virgo (Aug 22 - Sep 21)
Obviously you'd rather know exactly what you're getting involved in. But things are moving too fast and circumstances are changing too often for such details to be meaningful or lasting. When it comes to decision-making, trust your instincts for the most reliable insights.

Libra (Sep 22 - Oct 22)
When developments are as stunning as those currently streaming through your life there's no point debating them. If changes need to be made – as is likely with so much around you in transition – just deal with issues as they arise.

Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 20)
The fact that you're such a creature of habit is no surprise, since of the heavenly bodies, your ruler Pluto changes signs least frequently. Consequently, you'll need time to adjust to the changes triggered by its move into the sensual, practical Capricorn on the 27th.

Sagittarius (Nov 21 - Dec 20)
The recent new moon highlighted issues about what works in your life and your unrealised dreams. This is perfect timing; with Pluto's departure from your sign eliminating obstacles you've struggled with, the world is suddenly a much friendlier place.

Capricorn (Dec 21 - Jan 19)
The influence of Pluto's recent arrival in your sign is like a new season, which brings gradual, sometimes indefinable but profound changes. Understand that and instead of wasting time analysing unfamiliar situations take things as they come.

Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)
By now you've undoubtedly realised that with elements of the world around you and the lives of others changing, you need to make changes as well. While some are rather exciting, others seem the source of pointless disruption. Just give everything a try.

Pisces (Feb 19 - Mar 19)
If you notice a new trend in your life, that's no surprise. Existing burdens are vanishing enabling you to focus on the best way to take advantage of your options. Others may be in a hurry to make decisions but you owe it to yourself to explore everything.

Auto-fix

As a driver, I've witnessed devastating car crashes before. I even had a car crash accident which I never wanted to remember anymore. It was just horrible, not to mention financially exhausting.

Every crash means cash. So if you ever find yourself in such a situation, never hesitate to turn to Collision Repair Experts (just type auto body shops corona
in your web browser), you can surely rely on them on your auto body repair needs.

If you need more information, you can visit their user-friendly website, they even provide you an online map for their location so you'll never get lost!

Moving on...

Don't be alarmed by my title, I didn't break up with my bf or anything, just to give a little drama to what's happening with my life right now LOL. Anyway, I really am moving on to another accommodation, Al Mabrooka Building to be exact. It's still in the same area where I live (Al Qusais). And from what I know about it, it's a nice building (though old). It has larger rooms and wide living room.

Truthfully I'm sad, because I'm already well-adjusted in my home after residing here for almost 9 months (Miramar Building) and my flatmates are nice and friendly (I'll surely miss them!). But anyway, life is constantly changing. You have to be flexible to survive, and that's what I mean to do.

I'll be posting new photos of my new home. I'm supposed to transfer either today or tomorrow, so I'll just keep you posted my friends! Wish me luck...

Bust Annoying Callers

I have been getting lots of unregistered phone calls lately. Most of them wrong number who called me up in the middle of my deep sleep all the way from India! It's really irritating especially if the caller doesn't know the meaning of telephone etiquette! And believe me, most of them doesn't.

So if you ever been pestered by anonymous phone calls, I suggest you Report Annoying Callers. Aside from that, there's a great new site where you can look up phone numbers and trace who they are. You can also read lots of commentaries from people who experienced the same annoying situations as you. It's very helpful and informative, and to top it all...it is for free!

Common Spelling Mistakes

Got this test from my dear friend Michelle (I've always loved her tests), and I really had a great time knowing that I don't spell that bad. Take the time to know your spelling capabilities too!

Your Common Spelling Mistake Score: 90% Correct

Your spelling is excellent.

You don't fall for common spelling pitfalls, and you spell almost everything correctly.

Wedding Belle's

Last week we gathered @ Marissa's house to celebrate the engagement party of our close friends Carlo & Belle. It was such a lovely and fun-filled night! Though as the night progressed, we got drunk and the rest was history. But all in all, we had a wonderful time. Congratulations Carlo & Belle, may you have a life filled with love & happiness you truly deserve.

Still fresh & oriented to people, date, time, and place LOL.

Only 1% of my GABBA inhibitors were left.

Are we next? (sigh...smile)

Read Your Stars

Gemini (May 20 - Jun 20)
Everybody is complaining about worrying changes. Yet with your canny ability to spot trends, you're already noticing the influence of the far more agreeable planetary activity that begins this week. The trick, therefore, is to focus on worthwhile ideas and offers.

***There's really no point in pondering unworthy ideas. Since I got here I've been looking at the positive side of my current situation, and honestly it helped me get through some major bumps in my life. To obtain success is to be optimistic and proactive. Dare to be different and true!

Aries (Mar 20 - Apr 18)
Just when it seemed familiar elements of your life were falling apart, unexpected developments saved the day. Welcome as these are, don't assume things will go back to the way they were. Frank discussions highlight changes that need to be made.

Taurus (Apr 19 - May 19)
Obviously when shake-ups disrupt your life restoring order becomes a priority. First, however, you should question and access whether those arrangements are still appropriate for the person you've become and your future direction.

Cancer (Jun 21 - Jul 21)
Frank conversations and emotional dramas with those you care about don't seem appealing. But each demolishes either a past misunderstanding or issues that are currently obstructing you. Knowing this, ask tough questions and clear the air.

Leo (Jul 22 - Aug 21)
Your loyalty and capacity to sustain unshakeable commitments may be a virtue. However, this cycle's often dramatic shifts require far greater flexibility even in situations you regard as unchanging. However, you can transform and retain some of them.

Virgo (Aug 22 - Sep 21)
Revelations are surprising if not worrying. Still if you undertake necessary changes you'll realise that even challenging developments are only shaking up restrictive arrangements. Better yet, this alerts you to the cycle of thrilling opportunities that begins this week.

Libra (Sep 22 - Oct 22)
For ages you've been diplomatically avoiding issues you've known would upset others. Sidestepping these has caused confusion and held back progress. So when Venus' encounter with Pluto forces these out in the open be uncharacteristically blunt.

Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 20)
Both past experience and a wariness of certain individuals might justify caution in revealing your feelings. Now, however, pivotal situations triggered by Wednesday's encounter between Venus and Pluto bring such matters to a head. Speak frankly.

Sagittarius (Nov 21 - Dec 20)
Others are making decisions you're unhappy about. Ordinarily you'd battle to do things your way. However, these are temporary and clear the way for astonishing and unexpected opportunities triggered by Jupiter's potent alliance with Saturn on the 21st.

Capricorn (Dec 21 - Jan 19)
You can cope with challenges as long as you understand the reasons behind them. But what you're facing makes no sense. Be patient. The stunning planetary activity of November's last half will clarify why some of what's familiar must go.

Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)
Disruptive as recent events have been, if you followed your instincts that indicated they were for the best, then you'll have no trouble with this week's developments. The changes will take you in unfamiliar but worthwhile directions; simply go with the flow.

Pisces (Feb 19 - Mar 19)
When others object to your ideas or plans listen carefully to their reasons and you'll learn a great deal. Things are changing and since it's impossible for any single individual to keep up with everything, discussions with others could prove hugely informative.

This Tag Is Long Overdue

I got this tag from a great blogger friend Michelle. It's all about sharing 7 facts or secrets when we're still teenagers. Wheew time fly so fast, it seems like yesterday that I had my debut and now I'm on my way to my thirtees! Well, here are the few facts that I remember during my teenage time:

1. My bestfriend's name is Dimple, and she's still my bestfriend until now yippee! (Actually we nearly parted ways over a guy LOL good thing we got past through it, we both realized he didn't worth that much!).

2. It was my great dream to become a beauty queen (some dreams don't come true though LOL).

3. I was the 2nd Batallion Commander in our Philippine Military Training during high school. (I roar like a lion!)

4. I was addicted to roller skating. It made me feel like I was flying!

5. I had a great high school experience!

6.
I had my first real kiss @ 17.

7.
I had appendectomy and it's the worst pain ever I experienced!

Pave the way for Miss Korea!

It's United Nations Day once again. All schools have their own ways of celebrating it. Jam's school was not as enthusiastic as Arena's. While Jam's school expressed their spirit of unity by making different flags, Arena's was a little bit extravagant. They picked representatives of selected countries and the little kids have to wear the traditional costume or clothes of that country. Arena was just so convincing in her outfit, she looked like a Korean through & through!

Reach For Your Dreams

Gemini (May 20 - Jun 20)
Once you realize that plans are unlikely to last long you won't wonder where you went wrong. Instead, regard the proceedings as instructive. This frees you to employ your intuition. And, as you're short of facts, this could be the only way to come up with a solution.

***I'd better be wise and take my chance. I know it won't be easy, the challenges are tough, and I need to take bold steps if I want to reach my dreams. The waiting time is over. Action is needed promptly.

Aries (Mar 20 - Apr 18)
Your biggest problem isn't the considerable disruption currently taking place. It's that the anxieties of others are preventing you from shoring up plans. Actually, with changes still under way, your time is best spent exploring innovative solutions.

Taurus (Apr 19 - May 19)
Unsettling and occasionally worrying as the changes taking place are, they're actually about adopting a new perspective. But no one has enough facts to make decisions. The challenge, therefore, is refusing to commit to changes until early November.

Cancer (Jun 21 - Jul 21)
While you understand that sometimes the tide must go out before it comes in, others aren't as philosophical about worrying situations. Instead of reassuring, distract them with activities that can be easily accomplished. This will boost everybody's spirits.

Leo (Jul 22 - Aug 21)
Perplexing situations give you two options. The first is to do all you can to sustain elements of the past that are dear to you. The second involves remembering what's been wonderful, then getting ready to make the best of each day's new developments.

Virgo (Aug 22 - Sep 21)
Before making any decision, you explore every option. But now, with so much in disarray, reliable facts are elusive. So mix facts you're sure of with your instincts. Actually, that's the best approach, since it allows you to review developments as they evolve.

Libra (Sep 22 - Oct 22)
Don't mistake sticking with unworkable situations as loyalty to others. Instead, discuss problems frankly and you'll realise they're well aware of what has gone wrong and are surprisingly prepared to make dramatic changes, if not abandon plans entirely.

Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 20)
Because of the current unsettled atmosphere you're more vigilant than usual. Still, the personal and practical insights that accompany Tuesday's full moon will be valuable enough that it's worth withdrawing, even if only for a few hours, to reflect on what emerges.

Sagittarius (Nov 21 - Dec 20)
Ordinarily you'll fight for what you believe in. And, usually you win. Now, however, you really must pause and assess what's still worth your while. This will enable you to rearrange things, freeing yourself to take advantage of opportunities that arise late in the week.

Capricorn (Dec 21 - Jan 19)
Times of transition require a different approach. Consequently you're likely to rearrange or abandon plans more frequently than would ordinarily be your custom. Actually that's best, since each new version allows you to eliminate what doesn't work.

Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)
The outcome of the developments triggered by next week's powerful aspects to Uranus can't be calculated. So trying to fine-tune plans now is pointless. Instead, edit out what doesn't work. That way, when the pace of changes picks up next week, you'll be prepared.

Pisces (Feb 19 - Mar 19)
Kindness may be a virtue. However, in helping those who're struggling you're doing them no favours. This is a time for change, thus, you might need to put others' struggles at the back of your mind, and turn your attention to changes that are long overdue.

Seeing Life In A Different Light

Eversince I found out that I have a poor vision, the first thing came into my mind was to purchase a nice pair of eyeglasses. Though I love so much to buy those stylish ones and with signature names at that, I been put off with their exuberant prices. So I settled for those economical and less stylish ones. And then I started wearing contact lenses. Although contact lenses are very much liberating (I get so tired of wearing specs all the time, plus it makes me look old) and fashionable, there are times that my eyes get too tired and irritated that all I want to do is get rid of my contact lenses. And so I miss my good old eyeglasses.

Now my new mission is to get a pair of fashionable eyeglasses that is still within my budget. Then I have come to know about ZenniOptical, this is an online store where you can find stylish eyeglasses for as low as $8! I was so amazed while reading an article of Chicago Tribune and it mentioned how you can get quality and equally lovely eyeglasses without overpaying for such.

If you are still in the blurry side, I highly recommend that you go check ZenniOptical, then you could start appreciating the beauty of the world in a different light.

I am very interested in buying one, not only because I need it, also for the fact that I love it!

Web Hosting Rating

For a long time I have been thinking of getting a new website hosting service of my own. But every time I search the web for such, I am always taken aback with the high price they are offering. I often tell myself I will wait after sometime when the rates will go down but it never did. I kept thinking why should I get one for a high price when I can always opt for those free ones. Then I realized that a webpage of your own offers variety of opportunities and benefits which your free domain limits you from having. Many advertisers prefer a private domain for their advertising needs. And whenever I browse for blogging opportunities, my free domain is almost often excluded.

So I kept searching until I found Web Host Rating where you can find lots of web hosting providers which offer great deals and value for your money. And what’s more, the said web host servers are rated by Web Host Rating according to the best value and quality they provide to their consumers. So the next time you think of buying a domain of your own, come and check this amazing site, the one you could entrust your money with.

End of the Road?

I am feeling gloomy and sad today, I had the most sensational fight with Shushu yesterday (I won't go into details). But this is just one of our almost regular misunderstandings. I know when I decided to be with him that it won't be easy, culture gap, religious differences, etc. Before I thought it matters less so long as we love each other. But now, I am really confused. Getting tired of the fight and make-up scenarious.

I am thinking of ending it all now, once and for all. But why I feel so down and hurt? Love stinks! (I'm not going to give up on love though, so I stink LOL).

Kitchenomics

Women, especially mothers like us & wives (excluding me LOL), should be skillful in the kitchen. Infact, this should be a requirement before getting married, as the old saying goes "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach". But this requirement and saying should not be limited to women alone, it should be vice versa, right? Yeah right! Good food entices your hubby from coming home early and most of all it keeps your kids happy and healthy.

When you're cooking, it must be from the heart, because your mood will reflect to the food you're preparing. You can only do this if you are comfortable in your own kitchen. If it's neat & tidy, orderly and well-equipped. I've already designed in my mind my ideal and dream kitchen. However,
our kitchen now is good enough. Most of the needed appliances are installed, from oven, stove, & microwave to fridge and washing machine (yes, I do the washing while cooking, hitting two tasks all at one time!). Here take a peek...

So the next time you enter your kitchen, think of it as your kingdom, where everything good begins.

Standing still

Gemini (May 20 - Jun 20)
After weeks of complications you're longing for things to go smoothly. However, with Mercury's just ended retrograde cycle expect several days worth of fallout and chaos, especially with projects dear to your heart. Consequently, care and caution are vital.

***I felt rather lonely for a few minutes after reading my horoscope this week. But after sometime, I realize that there is nothing to worry about. Though my stars are quite misaligned as of the moment, everything is possible... every problem has a solution. I can do it... I'm a survivor!

Aries (Mar 20 - Apr 18)
Ignore the past weeks' problems and they'll complicate your life later. Besides, the recent full moon highlighted issues that need to be discussed. Putting these off too only makes things worse. Once you begin you'll realise things are not as complex as you feared.

Taurus (Apr 19 - May 19)
Not only are various obligations demanding, certain individuals are also particularly needy. Then there are potential financial dramas. Overwhelming as this seems, think things through and you'll realise nothing is that challenging. It's a matter of organization.

Cancer (Jun 21 - Jul 21)
Review seemingly unchanging elements of your life. Recent developments have so altered the equation that you must examine what works and, more importantly, what doesn't. While some changes are minor, others mean re-evaluating elements of your life.

Leo (Jul 22 - Aug 21)
You've finally realised that changes you've been battling are actually in your best interests, so are now eager to proceed. But with Mercury having resumed forward motion last Wednesday, you've numerous loose ends to tie up. Proceed wisely and slowly.

Virgo (Aug 22 - Sep 21)
Even with your acute analytical skills, you simply can't figure out every problem. Accept that and instead of worrying, you'll live one day at a time. Besides, with Mercury just having ended its retrograde cycle last Wednesday, you've millions of details to deal with.

Libra (Sep 22 - Oct 22)
Certain complex personal matters require serious attention. However, dwelling on them makes you feel guilty about neglecting others. More importantly, addressing the issues in question makes you anxious. Tackling them reveals they're uncomplicated.

Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 20)
You're finally ready to tackle changes you've been putting off. Actually, you should wait. While you know a great deal about the past, you're ill-informed about your options for the future. The full moon on the 28th promises profound insights about them.

Sagittarius (Nov 21 - Dec 20)
Recent experiences have forced you to question once cherished activities and relationships. Worse, acknowledging they're not ideal begins a search for a new purpose in life. There's no need to worry, the planets have organised something spectacular for you.

Capricorn (Dec 21 - Jan 19)
It's now clear that certain once- workable plans have outlived their time, so must be revised or abandoned. This is no problem, since you acknowledge trying to keep them afloat for the sake of it only complicates things. Meanwhile, explore everything.

Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)
Everybody is looking for a quick fix for recent unsettling developments and equally wanting facts about the future. However, this period is about exploration. This especially applies to you since elements of your life are bound to remain in flux until November 4.

Pisces (Feb 19 - Mar 19)
Waste no time seeking the ideal solution for others' problems or your own dilemmas. With major changes afoot, what works now could soon cause problems. This may mean taking stopgap measures, but it also gives you the freedom to take chances and try out things.

Keen Eyes

Eyesight is very important to mankind. For without it, we can never appreciate the beauty of the world God had created for us. To see the wonders of nature, and bask on the magnificent scenery only our eyes can see. Aside from that, it is a very essential tool for us to survive and do our activities of daily living. And most of all to watch our kids grow into a beautiful person they ought to be.

Having clear and sharp vision is just important for us civilians. But for the military and NASA, it is a MUST. They need to be keen and alert for one single mistake could mean defeat. I remembered how Ben Affleck used his charm on the nurse who was assessing his vision just to pass the eye test in the movie Pearl Harbor. That scene was just so cute and romantic!

Anyway, even I am suffering of poor visual acuity. I've been very interested in this new
LASIK technology. That is why I am digging up about LASIK information. It is proven safe and effective. And what more? anyone can afford it! I hope soon, when I have enough money, I'll surely go for this. I'd do everything to get my normal vision back without the hassle of wearing contact lenses and eyeglasses.

Inside Job

Prison situation in the Philippines is an inch better than hell. And getting inmate records is twice as worse. So whenever I watch western movies, I envy on how easily they manage to retrieve data even in restricted systems.

But I learned that it's not only in the movies, it's for real! If you ever have the need to locate specific prison information or documents, don't waste your time and money. I suggest you go to the best place. Find inmate records all across America through county inmate search. Whichever state you need, they got it all covered!

A Million Dollar Driver's License

Wheeew! Getting a Driver's License here in the U.A.E. is a very tough not to mention a very costly affair. If you're new to driving, you must enroll yourself to an accredited driving institute (Emirates Driving Institute, Galadari, Belhasa, Al Ahli, and the list continues...) and should undergo 40 driving classes.

But if you already have a driver's license in your home country, you could either apply for license without further need of driving lessons (if your home country is included in the exempted list). Or if your home country is not among the lucky ones (just like me LOL) then you can apply after undergoing 20 driving lessons. Well not bad.

Now we go to the fees, and I'm sure you'll think twice if you want to get the license or not. The cheapest per session I know is Dhs 50 (50x20= 1000) and that is exclusive of the test fees, licensing fees, and all other fees they can think of.

Our child's safety is our TOP priority

Jamjam, at a very young age, loves to travel. Whenever she gets the chance, she'll go with my mother to our beauty salon (situated an hour drive from our home). And everytime she went there, I always made sure that she puts on seatbelt and everything. I was even thinking of buying a baby car seat, (then I remember Jamjam is already 7 years old!). Well, I might still buy, I'll use it for my future kids LOL.

So if you want one for your baby, there's a great online shopping site that offers just about everything: ShopWiki. Name it (I mean type it LOL) and they have it! They also offers items in variety of brands, so you have a wide range to choose from.

The next time you are thinking of buying just about anything, I suggest you try ShopWiki and see the difference! See you there...

Team Building @ Al Mamzar Beach

Dr. Khalil (Head of Pediatric & Neonatology, Welcare) is regularly scheduling team building activities for his staff. And it's usually a barbeque party @ the beach. It's my very first time to attend since I joined Welcare, and I must say it's a great party. We had lots of fun and indeed we built some cool team that day.

Here are some of the uncensored pix we've taken LOL...

nag emote sa kakahoyan... (ouch my back hurts!)

TGIF!!!

Gemini (May 20 - Jun 20)
The upheaval in several areas of your life is far from a sign that things are going seriously wrong. Actually, this chaos is an indication of breakthroughs in situations you thought you'd simply have to accept as they are.

***Indeed life's full of surprises. Things that are so difficult to face are there to strengthen us and make us cope with more difficult situations. So learn from each experience, and be glad that you know how to problem-solve. Get out in each situations with a smiling face! Have a nice day guyzzz...

Aries (Mar 20 - Apr 18)
You've tried to ignore certain deeply personal emotional issues that also involve others. Now the events triggered by the Aries full moon make it clear you can't. The more open you are about your feelings, the more swiftly they can be put to rest.

Taurus (Apr 19 - May 19)
Tempting as it is to agree to certain appealing offers, you can't help but worry about the resulting unsettling changes. While there's no escaping these, once you're actually benefiting from them, those worries will vanish.

Cancer (Jun 21 - Jul 21)
Ever since late September you've been exploring ways you could improve on elements of your work or lifestyle, but haven't known where to begin. Ironically, the confusion triggered by Mercury's retrograde cycle offers inspiration.

Leo (Jul 22 - Aug 21)
While your ruler the sun's superb aspect to the intuitive Neptune indicates powerful insights, others aren't aware of this influence and so could actually create obstacles to doing what's clearly best. Quietly and serenely take action.

Virgo (Aug 22 - Sep 21)
Perfectionist that you are, leaving tasks undone or in disarray can cause you great distress. However, try to organise certain plans now and you'll soon realise that you're only making your life more difficult. Wait until midweek and things fall into place.

Libra (Sep 22 - Oct 22)
The last thing you want is a showdown with those closest at work or at home. However, not only are fireworks unavoidable, once you've actually talked things over you'll realise why it's essential that these matters be discussed frankly.

Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 20)
Don't misinterpret the fact that certain arrangements are falling apart as reason to worry. Actually, these are just the tail end of the changes resulting from revelations triggered by the retrograde Mercury.

Sagittarius (Nov 21 - Dec 20)
Disappointing as last minute changes in plan are, you're not only feeling philosophical about them, you're optimistic about something better coming along. Unfortunately others have put a far more negative spin on this, which could be a problem.

Capricorn (Dec 21 - Jan 19)
You're so involved in ensuring things go as planned that you haven't really noticed the subtle changes in circumstances that will very soon force you to completely rearrange those plans.

Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)
You might not immediately recognise the potential of certain ideas, mostly because they're such a departure from what you've been doing. Actually, that's one of their greatest virtues. Explore these in further detail.

Pisces (Feb 19 - Mar 19)
Life has become unexpectedly complicated. Worse, others are expecting you to sort out these problems. Tell them you not only can't, you won't. If they want something done, make it clear they'll have to do it themselves.

Eid Mubarak!

Eid Mubarak is a very special day for Islam (it's the Christmas equivalent for us Christians), celebrated after the long weeks of Ramadan. So Muslims are in such a merry state (and did I mention very sated state?) what after the long weeks of fasting, they can finally have their fill.

My Shushu is honoring Ramadan, so he's not quite in his mind lately LOL. We fought often for the last weeks, even with so simple and little things. Funny how hunger affects one's mind. But anyway I'm so glad it's over, we celebrated Eid together, and I can say that it's quite a blast. Benefits of fasting hehehe

Star Gazing

Gemini (May 20 - Jun 20)
Between Mercury's stunning aspect to Neptune on Sunday and Monday's new moon, life is brimming with inspiring ideas. While some are taken further, others are less straightforward. So discuss plans with optimists and avoid those who insist on hard facts.

***This is so true! As I tried to discuss exciting ideas to some people, there are just some that are so pessimistic, very negative thinkers. So from now on, I'll talk to people with more sense to believe that hardwork and less complaints at work will get you more out of your job! It will definitely give you satisfaction.

Aries (Mar 20 - Apr 18)
You've either been oblivious to problems involving partners at work or at home or hoped they'd shoulder responsibilities themselves. However, their decisions might not suit you. So involve yourself now or risk results you hate.

Taurus (Apr 19 - May 19)
Recently it seemed wherever you turned, somebody was complaining. Now suddenly it's gone quiet. Hopefully that's because you left it to others to deal with their own problems. Consequently, you're able to focus on close relationships. Don't rush these.

Cancer (Jun 21 - Jul 21)
Practical uncertainties can't be ignored. Still, they mustn't keep you from focusing on happy moments. Ideally you'll deal with what you must each day, then turn your attention to life's joys, free of concern about obligations and savour these pleasures with abandon.

Leo (Jul 22 - Aug 21)

Annoying as the errors that accompany Mercury's retrograde cycle are, they often lead to inspiring ideas. Knowing this, instead of rushing through problems, ask a few questions. This begins a lively dialogue about existing arrangements and new ideas.

Virgo (Aug 22 - Sep 21)

When your ruler Mercury is retrograde you tend to believe that somehow you should have anticipated problems – yours and other people's. In turn your concerns about letting others down arouses both personal doubts and feelings of guilt.

Libra (Sep 22 - Oct 22)
Ordinarily you'd talk through perplexing situations with those you trust. However, because Monday's new moon is primarily about reflecting on your feelings, first consider what you're happy about. What emerges may surprise you and could require serious reflection.

Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 20)

Certain arrangements run counter to your intentions. That's not a problem because they're actually others' responsibility. This frees you to tackle personal issues. Acknowledging them boosts your spirits and you feel prepared to face them head-on.

Sagittarius (Nov 21 - Dec 20)

In several situations you've made plans without giving much thought to others or whether you'll need their support. Now between unexpected twists in circumstance and their unenthusiastic reaction to some of your schemes, you're backed into a corner.

Capricorn (Dec 21 - Jan 19)

This hardly seems the ideal time to reorganise elements of your life. However, the mistakes that accompany Mercury's retrograde cycle expose facts that alert you to certain potentially far-reaching changes. Go ahead and explore your options.

Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)

After dwelling on practical and financial matters you need a break. You get it in the form of discussions that promise to take you to realms that uplift and inspire you. Pursue these ideas or offers and by mid-October they could turn into serious planning.

Pisces (Feb 19 - Mar 19)

Your instincts are remarkable. This is particularly the case now since the insights triggered by Monday's alliance between the retrograde Mercury and Neptune may not be what others want to hear. Don't ignore your instincts since ultimately they'll prove
correct.

Happy Birthday Arena!

This is my cutie, witty, hyperactive niece Arena. And today is her special day as she turns 4. Even though she always have quarrels with my baby Jamjam (and she often gets away with it unscathed grrrrr!) I still love her to the core.

Now as she blows her candle, I offer a sincere prayer that may all her wishes come true. And may God Almighty bless her with good health, sound mind, and a kind heart (specially this LOL very naughty little girl!)

I love you Arena! Be Good...please!

Still hoping...

My six months work probation is over. And my nurse manager had just discussed with me my performance for the last six months. I'm so glad she's more than satisfied. Here's what she wrote in my IPR (well from what I can remember LOL)...

"Shiela has worked with high level of consistency. She is well-liked by the whole team. And I believe that she will do well as a Staff Nurse."

How great is that? I was delirious while reading it. I really hope our nursing director will find it in her heart to approve it and let me try for the DOH License.

But I'm taking my time, this is a great opportunity, one I owe so much from God. I'll be waiting for the time when He finally grant me this...

I am Clever!

Gemini (May 20 - Jun 20)
Being a clever air sign, when you're contending with difficulties, you'll analyse dilemmas and discuss them with others. Your aim is to learn as much as you can. Worthwhile as that may be, you're also urged to go within.

***Clever huh? hehehe well I just have to accept that, anyway it's the forecast of a world renowned astrologer. I really am learning as much as I can, and I'm having a fun time doing it! Low self-concept is the root of despair and misery. So why not enjoy the most out of it. I'm still young and I know I can do a lot of things now and in the future. For me it's a challenge, one that I'll have to surpass to succeed.

Aries (Mar 20 - Apr 18
It may take some time for you to understand the tides of emotion stirred by events at the time of the full moon this week. These both accented uncomfortable feelings of vulnerability and made you aware how much you care about someone.

Taurus (Apr 19 - May 19)
You could easily find yourself being stubborn. That's because this week's changes are appearing so gradually that you wouldn't necessarily notice just how much they've altered the circumstances you're dealing with.

Cancer (Jun 21 - Jul 21)
Relinquishing long cherished goals would break your heart. True, you're making no progress as they're currently conceived. Not until you let these go will your mind be clear enough to spot other, very different concepts.

Leo (Jul 22 - Aug 21)
At first you ignored the complaints of certain individuals about persistent problems, mostly because their previous grumbles weren't actually that serious. This time around, however, the situation is different.

Virgo (Aug 22 - Sep 21)
You'd think you'd know exactly what makes you happy. Yet when you ask yourself that question, you're short of answers. That's no surprise, since questions of this nature are part of the process of a top to bottom reorganisation of your life.

Libra (Sep 22 - Oct 22)
During the past four weeks numerous changes in circumstances, some welcome, others less so, have left you feeling both unsettled and hopeful in equal parts. For now, focus on reviewing your priorities and analysing your options.

Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 20)
Having invested a great deal of your energy in certain ventures, you're not about to give them up without a battle. While you could probably keep things as they are, think carefully about whether that's wise.

Sagittarius (Nov 21 - Dec 20)
You've been sidestepping issues involving loved ones because you genuinely don't understand why they're upset. The problem is, they don't either. That being the case, continue to avoid serious discussions.

Capricorn (Dec 21 - Jan 19)
When it comes to finalising plans, timing is everything. This means that however eager people are to take things further swiftly, you're right to adopt a more cautious pace. This is vital now, but becomes of even greater significance next week.

Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)
Don't think that, out of loyalty to others, you must stick with past arrangements, in spite of obstacles. Actually, those apparent obstacles are really no more than a timely change in circumstances, and could actually lead to improvements.

Pisces (Feb 19 - Mar 19)
Certain usually sane individuals have declared war on situations that have been increasingly frustrating. While you can understand their strong feelings about this, that by no means suggests you need to join them in their battles.
