Be Beautiful

It is every woman’s desire to be beautiful, be it within or out. Either you have too much or too little in one area of your body, and removing or filling that in is the only way to increase your self-esteem and self confidence. There’s completely nothing wrong with that, after all we are just human. When you’re physically attractive, people look at you with admiration. But the feeling of being looked up to is just so heady, you might lose yourself in the process. When you decide to make the change, you must first be ready in all aspects: physically, emotionally, and financially. And second you must find a reliable and dependable clinic with outstanding cosmetic surgeons who will make your dream beauty come to reality.

Undergoing a cosmetic surgery is a risky yet rewarding experience. Each minute detail regarding the procedure must be delicately studied. All things must be ready and available to ensure outcome success. And success is what MYA Cosmetic Surgery is all about. Many famous celebrities have taken the long trip just to be taken cared of by one of the best surgeons in the world. I’m surely I will do the same if given the chance.

While other clinics offer empty and vague promises, Make Yourself Amazing holds true to theirs…to make you look fantastic and amazing you won’t be able to believe your eyes! They offer a wide variety of cosmetic surgeries and procedures so you won’t have to look any further. It’s like a one-stop shop, do-it-all clinic. So don’t wait on the sidelines, act now and become the center of attraction.

A Big Bundle

This baby is about to be discharged, so I'm rooming her in to his parents. I'm gonna miss feeding her since she's got a real big appetite, no need to stimulate at all. She won't even let go of the nipple even if her milk is finished. Poor parents, they'd be having trouble feeding her (financially). But that's nothing to the joy and happiness she will bring to their home.

Be a good girl, baby!

Sleep Tight

Have you ever been awaken in the middle of the night because of generalized itchiness? Well I did, and it was a very horrible experience. I had to take a hot bath to ease away the itch. And it was all because of those tiny, irritating bed bugs. Have I known about this wonder mattress cover for bed bugs, I would have had peaceful sleeps back then.

It's a good thing I transferred to a new accommodation just in time. Welcare was so nice to provide me with a new bed, and the nicest thing about it is that it's bedbug-free. I should buy that mattress, you know to keep those little but terrible creatures away.

Tooth Fairy Needed

We need our tooth fairy urgently! Gibi, Belle, Me, & Marissa.

Believe it when your mother tells you not to eat too much chocolates, they are definitely not good for your teeth. This photo is proof enough, LOL. Just can't get off my hands on chocolates, I love them!

Girls just wanna have fun! This was taken last Thursday on Mabeth's farewell party and Jude's birthday party. Too many guests and too many drinks equals too much fun!

Go Green!

Colors bring beauty to life, just like it will breathe life to a new home. Everybody has his own taste of color. As for me I like my home to be light and bright, colors that will wash away a bad day. I want to come home to a refreshing place and enjoy quality time with my family.

Having your house painted is not as easy as it may seem. You need experts, the likes of
Berlin Painter, to give you the best results you are looking for. What I like about them is that they don't think only about their business, but they care about the safety of your family and the environment too. Some companies use paints which have high level of lead, a potential hazard to the health of your family. But Go Green Painters use non-toxic products and dispose them accordingly. Aside from providing excellent painting jobs, they also excel in house improvements and remodelling. Once they are done with their job, you will be surprised by your home's transformation.

They offer fast and efficient service evidenced by testimonials of their very satisfied clients. So have your house painted by only the best. Visit their site and learn more about their products and company.

Happy San Juan Day!

It's been a Philippine tradition to go to the beach every 24th of June, the feast of St. John the Baptist. But beware when you're on the road, coz there are lots of naughty people splashing or throwing water on commuters. You're lucky if it's a clean one, I just don't want to imagine where they took the water from. These are people with nothing to do in their lives. Instead of celebrating our Christianity, they are bent on causing mischief. But it's tradition, so we can't do anything to stop it. Just be very careful and prepared.

The Good Nurse

Nurses are not just there to carry out doctor's orders, give medications, or take vital signs. We are there to give hope when it seems to be none left. To lend a helping hand and a listening ear to those who seem to have lost hope. And in order for us to be a blessing to other people, we must have a good personal outlook in life. So if you feel like you are loosing your touch, scrubs magazine is a very healthy tool to straighten you back to your calling. You can find many tips to healthy living which are very good for your soul as well as physical self.

Eventhough I don't need a license to follow Florence Nightingales' path, I still owe it to myself to practice my profession. And though my future as a professional nurse here in Dubai may seem vague, I still have lots of other options. There are lots of best cities to be a nurse, all I have to do is be patient and learn everything I can here. Or who knows maybe DOHMS will change their eligibility requirements again. I still believe that nothing is impossible with God.

Anyway, don't you know that you can still look hot in scrubs? Check out this cool chic scrubs. Come on, set the trend and be in fashion even at work.

Arabic Calligraphy

I don't know but everytime I see arabic writings they seem to mesmerize me. I am more than interested in learning how to write arabic than speak the language. I've been studying it (on and off though) since I came here in Dubai. But tonight I got more interested and motivated to finish what I long started. I've memorized all the alphabets, but the real challenge is how to use them and recognize them when they are connected to other letters, not to mention their weird pronounciations. It's really difficult at first, but as you encounter words and understand their meanings, you can easily differentiate one letter from the other. Here are some of the words I learned tonight:

girl - بنت
boy - ولد
man - رجل
woman - امرأة
dog - كلب
cat - قطة
horse - حصان
elephant - فيل
ball - كرة
car - سيارة
airplane - طائرة
boat - قارب
above - على
below - تحت
in - في

I hope I still have the same interest and motivation as I go along with my studies, wish me luck guys!

Own House

Not all of us owns a house of their own. It might be because of the high cost of living in the area where you live. Just like me, it's like next to impossible for me to buy a home here in Dubai, not unless I'd win the lottery, and oh I kept forgetting gambling is not allowed here LOL. So we will be forever renting accommodations at very high rates. But we won't be here forever, so as early as now, we need to plan and save to acquire a home of our own someday.

Whether to buy an old house or a newly built one depends upon your budget. If you choose to buy a second hand house, you must be very particular and careful. There are lots of details to consider in buying a home, especially if it is not at all brand new. And you might not be an expert in scrutinizing those tiny details that need careful attention. But Denver Home Inspection is. They specialize in home inspection, radon testing, mold testing, asbestos, lead , water and air testing. Everything to make your new home in great condition before you move in.

They don't guarantee you a perfect house, but they're there to check if everything is working well, and if not, to recommend repairs and maintenance. This could save you a lot of hidden expenses in the future. Now you don't want to buy a house with lots of extra future burden, would you? Buy wisely.

The Dubai Metro

The much awaited Dubai Metro is ab
out to be launched this 9th of September (09-09-09). Nice numbers, do you think they'd consulted a feng shui expert regarding the launching date? Well, I do hope these are pretty lucky numbers as they seem to be. I can't wait to know what this ever famous train has to offer me. Especially now that I'm not using our hospital transport any more. I've been commuting using public buses for a month now. Well, it's not so bad, I just have to walk extra steps to get to work and to my home.
Do you know that the interiors of the stations are uniquely designed by adopting themes based on one of the four elements of nature: water, air, fire and earth? There will be a total of 12 earth-themed stations, 13 water-themed stations, 11 air-themed stations and 11 fire-themed stations. Actually I've read this article in Gulf News. They are just so creative, I wonder how many million dirhams they have to spend in just one spectacularly designed station.

Baby's Corner

It seems that almost everyone I know has just given birth, is having a baby, or eagerly planning to have one. I myself want to have a little brother for Jamjam, but I don't think that it's the right time to have a baby considering the financial and emotional crises that surround me at the moment.

But that does not stop me from wishing or checking in advance designer baby clothes like appaman, they have a cool collection of baby's apparel that reaches out to the free-spirit of the young and innocent. And I just love the marshmallow-soft robes that barefoot dreams showcase. It's as if you're floating in the clouds whenever you wear them. It looks heavenly!

Having a hard time putting your little one to sleep? You can sit back and relax, the jelly softness of jellycat stuffed toys will do the magic. I tell you they were made especially for hugging. All these you can find in one amazing online store called Lou Lou's Corner. Whether you are shopping for your baby, nephew, niece, or grandkids, or just want to find something to give to a friend's baby shower, this shop is perfect!

Take a look, and you'll be surprise of how much you want to give everything for a child's happiness.

How Sane Are You?

With all these past weeks' turmoil, I'm wondering if I'm finally losing my grip. So when I came across this test, I just couldn't resist but take it... I'm relieved that I still have a few streaks of sanity left. Don't be a coward, take the test and bravely face the truth LOL!

The insanity test

My Quiz Result: You are somewhat sane. You show streaks of insanity.

A Refreshing Trip

From all the confusion and uncertainty in my head, I certainly need a break. I just want to free my mind from all the worries that's been plaguing me for the last few weeks now. Maybe a short trip to an unfamiliar place will be a refreshing change. Somewhere in Asia Pacific perhaps...

I'd love to visit the cleanest country in the world... Singapore. And since Singapore is just a small country (it hardly have a capital city), I want to explore the heart of it. My friend Belle visited there last year, and she was mesmerized with the place. The air is clean and the surroundings are tidy. I'd be more than thrilled to see the Doi Suthep temple and experience the exciting elephant trekking. It must be a very enojoyable, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

I don't know anyone there so I must stay in a nice and comfy hotel. Good thing
Accor Hotels has been very helpful with my search. Hotel Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay is where I'll most likely stay. I'd be staying in their relaxation and fitness center after the long day of exploration. It would be a perfect way to end the day.

Besides the amazing hotel selections and great services they provide, they are offering up to 60% discount when you book on-line between 23rd and 29th of June 2009, if you're planning to stay between the 10th of July and 30th of September 2009.

So hurry, and take the grand vacation you only dreamed of.

Happy Father's Day!

To the most wonderful father in the world... Papa Boy, we are so proud to be your children! Our deepest gratitude to the Almighty God for gifting us with such a responsible and principled Dad, really it's beyond words can ever explain.

And thus, I'm so honored to give you this trophy, this is nothing to what you are really worth... We love you so much Pang!

Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful Dad's in the world!

Best TV Deals

Direct TV has since bloomed in the television industry. In fact, it has become so popular that many businessmen have turned their eyes in this type of business and declare competition. It seems that everyone is offering DirectTV packages and special offers that if you will not look closely, may seem pretty much the same. Surely they are all not the same, because nothing can beat the best deals Direct Sat TV has to offer. No matter what your lifestyle is, or what your budget may allow, you have plenty of packages to choose from.

In addition to their almost perfect
Direct TV System, their non-stop 24/7 customer care is also unbeatable. No wonder they were awarded as Dealer of the year, because they provide best deals with topmost quality.

To avail of their amazing Direct TV Service and special packages, you need to visit them and call the numbers flashing on their website. And if you're not yet convinced, try their 15-second Direct TV quote to see and compare what you are paying your money for. You will see, it is all worth it.

I would love to have this in my home, to have the chance to watch my favorite TV series and movies in crystal clear, high definition. I'm sure everytime I turn on the TV will be a great and new experience.

For the Better

Everything is changing, mostly for the better. But situations involving business or finances are worryingly obscure. With July's two eclipses reshaping this area of your life and the circumstances of others, things can't be rushed.
***Honestly I'm so confused at the moment. I am torn between two equally important but altogether opposite decisions that could greatly affect my life and those involved. I just hope that these changes will be for the better, and whatever my decision may be, I hope I won't have regrets later in my life.

Aries (Mar 20 - Apr 18)
Ordinarily, you confront obstacles head on. But in one particularly complex situation that's achieved little, so you'll be grateful for this week's unexpected but very convenient sudden changes.

Taurus (Apr 19 - May 19)
Let others know what your intentions are, but when it comes to decisions, be flexible. Things are moving swiftly so plans must be a joint effort, and are bound to evolve as events reshape the circumstances themselves.

Cancer (Jun 21 - Jul 21)
Everyone wants decisions to be taken promptly. However, because Monday's Cancer New Moon is more about questions than answers, ideally you'll focus on exploration of both existing plans and the new ideas or offers currently coming your way.

Leo (Jul 22 - Aug 21)
Accept that certain decisions aren't yours to make and you've overcome the week's biggest obstacles. Because Monday's New Moon begins a four-week cycle of life-changing events, you're better off waiting and watching now.

Virgo (Aug 22 - Sep 21)
It's ironic that situations that seem so challenging initially prove so revealing about certain deeply personal matters. They raise questions about your priorities, who you love and your ideals.

Libra (Sep 22 - Oct 22)
Many changes this week will be no surprise. Add unexpected, developments and the attitude of certain individuals due to Tuesday's clash between the Sun and Pluto, and you could feel overwhelmed.

Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 20)
Between now and early July destiny, unexpected and perhaps unwelcome events will revolutionise your thinking and expectations. Triggered by challenging aspects to your ruler Pluto, the events will help you explore unfamiliar ideas.

Sagittarius (Nov 21 - Dec 20)
Having dealt with the more visionary side of the changes currently streaming through your life, your focus now shifts to practicalities, including money, time and ensuring you've adequate support for your schemes.

Capricorn (Dec 21 - Jan 19)
The events triggered by Monday's unsettling New Moon are only part of a month-long pattern of growth. Understand that and instead of organising changes as swiftly as possible, you'll do the minimum.

Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)
The complex situations you've been wrestling with for some months are about to become even more demanding. Dealing with unexpected situations and others' often peculiar ideas about what's wise, will be a learning experience.

Pisces (Feb 19 - Mar 19)
Others may complain loudly and at length about disappointments or being treated unfairly. Still, do nothing. These developments are only forcing them to do exactly what they've been avoiding.

Maryknollians!

They looked so good and happy in their new uniforms. I'm very glad knowing that they fit in and quickly adjusted in their new school. Change is not always that easy you know...

I remember my school days in Maryknoll, it was quite a blast, I've really enjoyed my stay, I missed all the fun me and my friends had. I just wish my baby Jam, Arena, and my sister Geel will experience the same fun that I had, and learn at the same time too of course!

Make The Right Move

There are rumors that Welcare staff accomodation will be again reshuffled. This is because they may have to let go of their contract at International City due to rising of rents. In which case, they are not anymore saving on rentals, more so they are spending more on the transportation of the employees to and from the hospital.

If these were true, I can't imagine moving to a new house again. I hate packing and unpacking things, it is really a nightmare for me. Though the hospital will provide house movers to ease the burden of moving, it is still a huge stressor for me. I just hope the ones they will send are as good as the Dallas Movers. I have heard that they are one of the best in the area. Offering quality services in a very professional manner, so you could be at ease that your most precious belongings are in safe and expert hands. Smooth and safe moving are what they guarantee their clients, evidenced by many satisfied customers giving their heartfelt testimonials on their site.

So are you moving? Look no further, just follow the link and they will guide you through the rest of your journey.

My Own Connection

Finally I have my own wireless internet connection now. It has taken me so long to decide whether to have one since there are lots of free wireless internet connection out there to connect to. But lately it's been difficult to find one, either the router is down or I just can't surf the net even if my connection is saying everything is all right. Karma I guess LOL.

Anyway, I signed up a one year contract with Etisalat (the sole internet provider here in Dubai, I think). So I got a free installation and a month free of subscription. I also got the router on an installment basis, so I practically paid nothing today. But the catch is, if I decide to cut off my connection before the one year contract ends, I'll have to pay the installation fee, the cost of the router, and no more one month free. I tell you, they've got it all planned LOL.

I guess I will just have to deal with that later. For now, I'll enjoy chatting and seeing jamjam and connecting to the world!

JaM's First Day Funk

New place, new faces, new challenges. Today is Jamjam's first day in her new school (the school where I graduated both elementary and high school, Mayknoll High School of Panabo, my Alma Mater). She's now on her 3rd grade. And it hurt so much not being there with her...for her. She didn't sound nervous when I spoke to her on the phone, but her voice lack the excitement of a new girl in school. I just hope she'll get along fine, and she'll find nice friends to grow and learn with.

I'm sure she'll look great in her new uniform, though she won't be wearing it for at least a week since transferees are allowed to wear civilian clothes for some time.

Good luck Jam, enjoy learning and don't forget to have lots of fun along the way!

P.S. And oh I forgot to mention that my niece Arena (Kinder 1) and my sister Geel (1st year high school) are also getting into the same school. I've heard Arena has been restless with extreme excitement for weeks now, she's just so hyperactive. Rock on guys!!!

Happy Birthday Mama!

It's my Mama's birthday today! I wonder if she still answers "34" whenever somebody asks her how old she is. Year after year I kept hearing this when I was just a kid, and I never thought it wasn't true. Now that I'm all grown-up, I'm teasing her with it, and we'll just laugh out loud.

I really look up to my Mom, she's my ultimate idol, my idea of what a woman should really be. Tough on the outside, but a natural mom on the inside. I'm lucky if I'll be half of what she is, but I'm trying my best.

I love you so much Ma, and never cease to rock our world! You are the BEST!

Steer Clear

I remember driving our old van, I always had a hard time backing out because our steering wheel was kinda antique LOL. But with the advent of modern technologies in the automobile industry, everything seems to be either automatic or powered. Now I can back out from the garage in one swift turn. Thanks to the quality power steering rack and steering box of our new car, I can now drive with no sweat.

So if you're ever thinking of replacing your old steering, follow the link above and find the best and affordable steering boxes and steering racks in almost all makes of vehicle.

Make the change now, so you can drive smoothly and safely.

Agirl & Carlo Nuptials

One of my close friends just tied the knots! Scary huh? LOL just kidding. Infact I'm enormously happy for them since they're both my friends. I was supposed to be in the entourage, but since I'm in the middle of nowhere hehehe, they crashed me out of the list.

Just thinking that I was the only one absent for their big day makes me so sad. I know all my friends were having a fab time, and I just can't help but be jealous. But eventhough I wasn't there physically, my heart was there with them all along.

To Agirl and Carlo, may you have the best times in your lives together...for always.

Tricky Stars

Gemini (May 20 - Jun 20)
Judging by tricky aspects involving your ruler Mercury between now and the middle of next week, even seemingly straightforward matters could be fraught with problems. Initially this is frustrating. But what you learn when putting these right justifies the effort.
***I felt like my stars weren't on my side lately. They're all the while playing their nasty tricks on me. But I know that this is not the time, nor any other time for that matter, to lose hope. I still believe that my stars will align back just the way they're supposed to be.
P.S. Happy Birthday to my great dear friend Jinky, may you have all the things you truly deserve.

Aries (Mar 20 - Apr 18)
Even the best-laid plans need to be reviewed. This is especially the case now that the circumstances you're dealing with appear to be changing regularly. Tedious as fine-tuning the situation is, you'll soon realise in doing so you're avoiding problems later.

Taurus (Apr 19 - May 19)
Somebody you care about deeply is struggling and there's little you can do to help. Stop worrying about trying to deal with the problem on their behalf. They must handle things themselves. Just reassure them they're important and you will be there for them.

Cancer (Jun 21 - Jul 21)
You've been tiptoeing around upsetting issues for so long that you've almost convinced yourself they're not important. These need to be discussed frankly and openly with a large circle of individuals. Do it swiftly. The longer you wait, the more complicated it will be.

Leo (Jul 22 - Aug 21)
With Mars just having moved to highlight your current goals, and remaining to accent such matters until mid-July, you're starting a lengthy review. This begins with long overdue changes. You'll soon realise there are other activities that would benefit from a rethink.

Virgo (Aug 22 - Sep 21)
You prefer to be organised. Consequently, making last minute changes is out of character and embarrassing. But it's also necessary, particularly if you're to take advantage of developments that you regarded as impossible.

Libra (Sep 22 - Oct 22)
When you made certain promises you had no doubt they could be fulfilled. Now that seems increasingly unlikely. You're struggling to keep things afloat. Discuss this with those involved. You might be surprised to discover that they don't care as much as you thought.

Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 20)
Think twice before you get embroiled in others' disputes. The issues may seem straightforward, but each of the individuals involved has a personal agenda that's colouring their thinking. As they're completely unaware of this, logical discussion is totally impossible.
Sagittarius (Nov 21 - Dec 20)
If ever there was a moment when it was appropriate to question personal issues, it's now. That way you'll be prepared for the intense discussions and the changes in circumstance that arise when this weekend's Sagittarius Full Moon brings matters to a head.

Capricorn (Dec 21 - Jan 19)
Facts may be facts, but not when they're in the hands of those who aren't concerned with accuracy. Be particularly wary of this, since with Mercury only recently having ended its retrograde cycle you're dealing with remaining errors and others' frustrating sloppiness.

Aquarius (Jan 20 - Feb 18)
Ordinarily, when you're unsure of your information, you'll avoid making statements until you've learned more. As you're well aware, others aren't nearly as cautious, which means they're making promises about arrangements that are unlikely to come off. Keep this in mind now and you'll avoid disappointment later.
Pisces (Feb 19 - Mar 19)
An old adage says that truth will always win, but judging by certain recent and rather disillusioning events you're not so sure about that. Have faith. You need do nothing but remain on hand. Soon those difficult situations that you and others are currently wrestling with will force the facts out in the open.
